The new administration wastes no time beginning an isolationist course, choosing to fight extremism with extremism. The initial immigration ban against a religion is released, and millions are threatened with deportation. What symbolizes America and what are its values is simplified into a mouthful of words. In this piece, the welcoming harbor is blocked and drained. A Russian sub prowls the waters of the coast. Lady Liberty has her back turned to the world and is temporarily blinded as to what is happening. The message at her feet has been obscured by trash though her torch still shows hope.

I like using scale to change the visual interpretation of what an item may be. Along with 3D, several mini-sculptures can be used in the same piece. I think this gives viewers more time at interpreting the work.
