ABOUT THE ARTIST

John Kaufmann became active in expression through art early in his career, and has transitioned to painting after decades as a woodworker, designing and building many objects from 3-D wall art to furniture.
John remembers living through the Cuban Missile Crisis. This is when he became acutely aware of the importance of who had their finger on the button. He finds the current course of events in our country to be mind-numbing. The artist has said that he feels that the direction of his art has been hijacked, along with the hope of a working political structure, and that he cannot ignore the urge to execute and share his latest project, a work-in-progress of 3-D political art named, “A Parallel Universe”.

The artist created this site in hopes that it will promote honest, and positive discussion, as it is the only way to straighten out this warp in time. Apathy is not an option. Prints may be available soon. Inquiries about sales or commissions are welcome.
